8 Ways Mussels Delight

A versatile recipe that showcases the natural flavor of mussels with a savory broth enhanced by garlic, onion, and white wine.

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs mussels, cleaned and debearded

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 cup white wine

  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh herbs parsley, thyme, or basil for garnish

Instructions:

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat


Add garlic and onion, saut until translucent


Pour in white wine and broth, bring to a simmer


Add mussels, cover, and cook until they open, about 5-7 minutes


Season with salt and pepper
